I love nothing more on a sunny day to walk around chasing shadows. I have a small Canon G7X , which has a very useful flip screen, and fits easily in my pocket. I find it very liberating somedays to go out without my big DSLR. Shadow chasing is great in any season as the light quality changes as we move from one to the next. Trees are leafless in winter and create amazing shapes with their naked branches whilst in summer when in full leaf they can create the most amazing dappled shade where light dances on the ground.
